We are looking for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our growing team in Hednesford, who has previous experience of working within a LD Children’s Residential setting, who holds an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or is working towards gaining this qualification.

This candidate must have sound knowledge of the Quality Care Standards that govern Children’s Residential settings and have the skills and qualities needed in providing the high quality of care to the children residing at the home.

The home is a 3 bed that specialises in children / young adults between the ages of 8-18 with LD.

Some of the duties and responsibilitiesheld by the successful candidate include:

* Supporting young people in their day-to-day routines

* Completing and maintaining administrative records as required by the home

* Providing a positive role model for the young people

* Developing and maintaining professional working relationships.

Working Hours

This position requires sleep-ins and work hours are across 7 days (Generally shift pattern is 1 on 2 off but can differ week to week)

Providing personal care may be required with this position due to the needs of some of the Children/Young People in our care

The Candidate

Previous experience in a residential children's role

Candidate must hold a Full UK Driving License

Candidate must hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People or be working towards it


Rate of pay will be £8.41 to £8.50 plus £25.00 per sleep in.
