Children’s Residential Support Worker

£8.25 per hour + £25.00 per sleep in.

We are looking for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our growing team in Cannock, who has previous experience of working within a LD Children’s Residential setting, who holds an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or is willing to work towards gaining this qualification.

This candidate must have sound knowledge of the Quality Care Standards that govern Children’s Residential settings and have the skills and qualities needed in providing the high quality of care to the children residing at the home.

Our clients are just opening their 4th Children’s Residential home. The company specialises in the care of children between the ages of 8-18, with learning disabilities.

The home is for 2 young people and are currently all rated as “GOOD”.

Some of the duties and responsibilities held by the successful candidate include:

Supporting young people in their day-to-day routines

Completing and maintaining administrative records as required by the home

Providing a positive role model for the young people

Developing and maintaining professional working relationships.

Providing personal care may be required with this position due to the needs of some of the Children/Young People in our care.

Working Hours

This position requires sleep-ins and work hours are across 7 days.

The Candidate

Candidate must hold a Full UK Driving License

Candidate must hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People OR Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care

Pay

£8.25 per hour + £25.00 per sleep in
