We are looking for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our growing team, who has previous experience of working within a Children’s Residential setting and preferably with LD experience, who holds an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or is willing to work towards gaining this qualification. Candidate must also hold a Full UK Driving License.

This candidate must have sound knowledge of the Quality Care Standards that govern Children’s Residential settings and have the skills and qualities needed in providing the high quality of care to the children residing at the home.

Albrighton Care is a private company based in the Cannock area, where they are just opening their 4th Children’s Residential home. The company specializes in the care of children between the ages of 8-18, with learning disabilities. Albrighton Cares homes are Ofsted registered to care for 2 young people and are currently all rated as “GOOD”.

Some of the duties and responsibilities held by the successful candidate include:

Supporting young people in their day-to-day routines

Completing and maintaining administrative records as required by the home

Providing a positive role model for the young people

Developing and maintaining professional working relationships.

Please Note:

Applicants must be able to do sleep-ins and work hours are across 7 days.

Providing personal care is required with this position due to the needs of some of the Children/Young People in our care.
